I think the argument went more along the lines "good 3rd party games don't sell on the Wii"

@jarrod: You mean 6th, right? You can't seriously say Mario & Sonic would sell without Mario/being related to Nintendo. And if it continues like this the game can easily get to at least 3rd.
Good for Ubisoft, they seem to be the developers who understands the market best of anyone out there.
