1. Revenue is not what matters unless it's to puff up a portfolio. Profit matters, and selling systems at a profit will always make more money.
2. In order for there to be loads of used games being bought, there have to be loads of new games being resold. Some of the most commonly resold games are those with huge openings and then quick drops afterwards. This shows that some game sell due to hype and are then resold. Since this is more an HD phenomenon, logically they should have the most resales, and that is the case.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
