Two blu ray discs= 50GB One dual layer blu-ray disc=50GB That is not the reason why people say MGS4 lacked polish. IMO, the only thing that Kojima could've refined was the CQC. It was too slow paced.
@Sorcery- I liked Drebin. I thought the boss fights were good but there was no real point for the beauties to exist. Vamp and Liquid Ocelot boss fights were great. And the ending did not suck. I was confused why Big Boss was still alive but the debriefing explained it pretty well. The ending is one that you can enjoy if you watched all the cut scenes. |
The only thing tolerable about the game was the cinematics and voice acting IMO. Perhaps if Kojima would've had things his way with the two Blu Ray's the gameplay would've been better. It was a marginal effort at best. I wish Kojima would put in gameplay espionage elements like Splinter Cell already. MGS1 and 3 were classics and the gameplay fit the board perfectly. MGS4 was too big of a game to have such a simplistic selection of moves. The road to each boss was disappointing as well, but whatever.....at least it wasn't MGS2.
