That's only a stigma to the current base of gamers, which is shown to not be the mainstream.

And the top grossing films are more often action films, not violent films.

Don't tell me it isn't true. Anyone I know over 30 thinks games are for children only. And calls me childish for still playing them at 22. 

Weird...I know lotsa guys and gals (I work with) that are closer to 35-40 (or even older...gee THAT's REALLY OLD!!!) and most of 'em play video games of one type or other...some play wii games, others ps3...I actually thought the world had changed and most people DIDN'T think video games were just for kids and dweebs anymore...guess I was wrong!!!
