@Torillian - I think he summed up pretty much why he didn't think they'd bother reacting at all. His hack doesn't really damage Sony in terms of sales as piracy is not possible and its only possible on a discontinued product. |
he's saying that hacking into someone else's system using this hack isn't possible, not that he can't screw over sales with it. Sony mentioned security reasons, which is indeed a bunch of crap, but this hack could have hurt their sales and they acted to stop that as any business would. If they hadn't people would be calling them idiots and saying it was another bad business decision by them.
