stealing

Piracy is copyrights infridgement, not stealing. Get your facts straight.

I know, however, stealing is a gernalized term.  Of course "piracy" isnt literally taking anything away, and many can argue the term about it but piracy is also illegal copying, so therefor by obtaining a copy without paying IS stealing.

No. You're still trying to twist it into "stealing", which the RIAA/MPAA "educated" people into thinking so.

Both are illegal, yes. But they aren't the same.

Im not trying to twist, but simply what would you call "obtaining something illegally without paying"?

The fact that the actual product wasnt purchased, generalized the term as 'stealing' thats all.  Technically yes piracy isnt stealing.  But to simplify for the uneducated its just easier to say 'stealing'.

But i guess i shouldve been more technical sorry.  Im sure others who's read my first post and saw that i used 'stealing' didnt mind i used that term because its just generally easy to understand.

You could simply call it "copy" instead of "stealing". Copy is easy to understand, too.

"obtainling something illegally without paying"?

Now, you're just being vague.
