It feels like it lacks character, both in substance and execution. I think it comes back to the whole thing about it being designed for a videogame, rather than something that might be real. I mean, who would scribble these things down on random walls? I would love to work to get to the story, but in a way that makes more sense, and this just feels a bit like the Bioshock way. Who the hell leaves recorded diary entries and whatnot lying around all over the city? It's just so... fake, I guess. |
In prime 2 you mostly scan dead bodies to read their log diaries. They wear special armor that allows them to tell their last story on how they died. It's a sci-fi game you know xD
It's actually explained in game you know :P

That makes more sense, I'm fine with that. But in the first game, you have these natives that want to tell what is going on, which is fine, but it seems they write it down on the first wall they see. It doesn't make any sense. And I haven't seen the part where they explain it

Oh that, they do that on every freaking planet you know xD
In prime 2 there's also stuff like that on the walls, but they do that to not be forgotten because they're at war and there ain't much left of them xD
And it's not written on the wall, it's a holographic kinda thingie. I guess Oo
