Rainbird: your pointer should never go off-screen in Metroid Prime. Go into the Options and set the pointer sensitivity to "advanced", it will solve your speed problems.

Otherwise I can't offer you anything. If MP1 isn't your cup of tea, try MP3. If that isn't, then sell the package.

I turned it up and it seems to be gone now, thanks

And I'm not prepared to sell it yet, I can tell that it's a good game, despite all my annoyances, so hopefully I will start liking it better, or one of the next games will be better.

My fav one is still the second although I think I'm the only person in the world that thinks that. Hehe, if you hate no checkpoints in prime 1 you're going to suffer in the second one. Bosses are so easy in the first one compared to the second game. Usually there's a save location nearby boss fights though, you should use them.

You'll really be surprised how deep the story is in the second game if you actually take time to scan everything. You should take time for it by the way. The bosses are also a lot cooler in the second game.
