More wii's = higher sales

Perhaps. But Wii having shortages isn't a shocker, it's been that way nearly the entire gen. The PS3 just got into this situation and Sony had their biggest release of the gen in NA so far WITHOUT any PS3's to buy.

In short, that's how I figure.

Actually most of last year it wasn't a Wii issue. It lead to monster december sales when NSMB was released. 

The wii has been in short supply since.
