Motion controls are fine, so long as developers use them properly. Right now for example, I cannot emphasize enough, just how awesome Red Steel 2 is. It's an epiphany of awesome, and something everybody ought to try! It's honestly the first game where the motion controls feel like a huge improvement over traditional controls, and it is a wicked game to play!

That's not to say a game like Fallout 3 should have controls like that, because they are tiring (in the good way ) in the long run, but just aiming with a pointer can still be more fun than using dual analogues. My problem with motion controls so far have mostly been about the shortcomings of the Wii, but M+ have rectified much of that, and it seems the last bit will be taken care off by the Move.

So, here's hoping for an awesome future of motion controlled games!
