This means it has already outsold Yakuza 3, which apparently sold just under 500,000 (499,436) before the end of 2009. " http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/6819.html |
Yakuza 3 shipped 500,000+ copies as well. It's yet to determine if Yakuza 4 would outsell Yakuza 3.
Shipped is not equal to sold. Certainly Yakuza 4 has not outsold Yakuza 3 yet since there are only 384,000 copies of Yakuza 4 sold comparing to 499,436 copies of Yakuza 3 (excluding best release).
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
