Because no one has any historical figures for American software more than 3/4 years back, and no one has any 'others' figures at all. I reckon ioi is probably working on getting the majority of this generations [home consoles] 'others' software so we can at least compare games from recent times. If you want to compare old games It's Japan only i'm afraid.
