Struggling to pass the 360?

Isn't it fair to say that Microsoft has put out ever major game in their arsenal, and has been out for a year longer gaining 3rd party support, as well as an install base.

IMO, according to the facts - Microsoft should be outselling PS3 worldwide 2:1, or more- especially since this was supposed to be "their holiday"

But still Sony is finding a way.

@OP, your post is just full of inaccuracies. I understand that you mean 100% failure rate eventually. But by the same logic- every PS3 has the same failure rate (each will fail eventually at some point in time) so the 33% failure rate is about correct without getting too philosophical.

I do expect Microsoft to make another piece of hardware.

And they will jump the gun by about 2 years, making it the first to the next gen market- the same as they did this gen.

p.s. this thread is major flame bait- but thats why its so much fun

I have a few problems with the start of your post. Every game in their arsenal suddenly doesn't include Ninja Gaiden 2, Fable 2 and Bankjo Threeie? Basically the only big established franchise they have released is Halo 3 and they created a bunch of new franchises?

Also what MS hasnt done that Sony has is dropped the price like a badger on steroids.

There are also many other established, popular franchises still to be released on 360:

-Halo Wars (and Peter Jackson's Halo project)

-Splinter Cell: Conviction

-A new Perfect Dark that is actually a sequel to the original (not a prequel) and goes back to that version's gritty, realistic look.

-2 more Mass Effect games (Bioware said it's a trilogy and they're going to try to get all of them out this generation)

Those are just the already-announced sequels to big franchises that I just thought of off the top of my head (at 5:30 in the morning) that haven't already been mentioned.  So, to say that the 360 has used it's entire arsenal is just incorrect.  These games all come from multi-million-selling franchises (except for the Mass Effect games, since the first one just came out), and I see no reason why these entries won't do the same.  Not to mention all the highly promising new IPs in development, such as Alan Wake.

I'm in no way saying that the PS3 has no chance of keeping up, as it has FF13, MGS4, LittleBigPlanet, Afrika, GT5, etc, but please think before making rash statements.
