I understand that you mean 100% failure rate eventually. But by the same logic- every PS3 has the same failure rate (each will fail eventually at some point in time) so the 33% failure rate is about correct without getting too philosophical. I do expect Microsoft to make another piece of hardware. I have a few problems with the start of your post. Every game in their arsenal suddenly doesn't include Ninja Gaiden 2, Fable 2 and Bankjo Threeie? Basically the only big established franchise they have released is Halo 3 and they created a bunch of new franchises?
Also what MS hasnt done that Sony has is dropped the price like a badger on steroids.
