Will the 3DS have a global launch?

Alright I find it interesting that some people have been saying they expect a Japanese launch in November with a North American one in early 2011! However Nintendo is leaning more and more towards globalization the DS and Wii both launched almost simultaneously in North America and Japan. Yah DSi and DSXL have both been launched in Japan long before making it over to our shores however when Nintendo launches an entirely new platform they tend to release them pretty close to one another.

Now some have said the new bigger model of the DS coming out this month will mean Nintendo won't launch the next DS this year in North America. I doubt that fact because the Micro launched after the DS did so 3DS in my opinion could launch this fall no problem. Could Nintendo have meant the 3DS will be on store shelves globally by March 2011?

So what do you think, will 3DS have a global launch simultaneously or launch in Japan then months later in NA then Europe. Or will it be close with a launch in Japan Europe and NA all within a month or so?
