''I would argue there are also high-quality games that seem to be well marketed (that) aren't selling well on competitive platforms.''

I read it and honestly couldn't think of any high quality titles that have been well marketed and flopped on the HD console's.

The closest would be Too Human, but that was far from high quality or well marketed.

Otherwise everything else he said was fine, Reggie sure can keep on his toes in interviews.

Bioshock on PS3

Bioshock 2 on every platform

Dead Space

Silent Hill

Ratchet and Clank: Crack in Time

Do you need more?

Bioshock was a year old port on the PS3 and I can't remember seeing any ad's for it.

Bioshock 2 released last month and it's already sold 1.5 million copies on the HD platforms.

Dead Space has sold 2 million on both HD platforms.

Silent Hill has never sold well and it actually sold more on the HD platforms combined compared to past games.

A Crack in Time released last October and has sold 900,000 copies.

I don't know what your definition of a flop is, but those games aern't exactly flops.

Those are not return on investments. Bioshock 2 on PS3 nearly sold 500 000, and it costs a lot making a game multiplatforms.

Crack in Time is a flop compared to Tools of Destruction

Bioshock still failed on the PS3

I agree with you, but unless we know how much it cost's to port a title to another HD system then we don't know if 2k turned a profit or not with the PS3 version of Bioshock 1, the game was already made so they can't have spent to much on the port.

Crack in Time released on the 27th of October last year, Tool's of Destruction has a 2 year head start.

Bioshock 2 released last month, it could go on to sell 1 million by the end of the year, that's not exactly bad.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
