I don't think mature games can't sell on Nintendo consoles. I remember GoldenEye and Perfect Dark selling really good... They were all shooting games.
I mean, developers are so stupid! If they would have thought a little more about what's appealing to the mass people with their games, they could have produced another hit, like Just Dance. Games on the Wii still sells a year after their release, unlike the PS3 or Xbox 360 whose games drop after a strong first week.
