The vitality sensor (hardware) is not as important as the software. From what we've heard, the software is going to be about relaxation and meditation. There really couldn't be a better idea.
Personally I'd love a game about meditation and relaxation. It's going to be completely opposite from most games that are available which do more to wind you up and stress you out. People who don't like games may be convinced to buy something like this.
This is going to be a perfect complement to Wii Fit and Wii Sports. I'm hoping that they make the vitality sensor a little less constricting to wear so you can play it with a game like Wii Fit. Being able to keep track of your pulse while exercising is big.
Millions of Wiis were bought by hospitals, therapy clinics, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living homes. The Vitality sensor goes right with that audience. Add sleep clinics, meditation centers, and mental facilities to that list.
