If the series is going to be continue to be subpar does it matter?

i think on e of the reason it became subpar was that they focused on two platfoms instead of one .they are a small team handeling the game.so they have the resources to focuse on 2 and deliver same quality the game was delayed for more than a year to just port it to xbox 360.

so by focusing on one i think they can regain the quality

I dont play tekken , nor do I plan to but from what ive read tekken 6 fall of grace wasnt the graphics but the gameplay.......making the game multiplat would not have an effect on the gameplay.

And no one is shallow enough to consider a game sub-par for graphics alone.

i m not talking just about graphics (loading times, they did not obtimize the codes for the PS3 version,,,bad coding for the online ,,,,took them 3 months to fix it,,,,lack of online co-op which was added 3months after,,,many other things that could have been fixed with focusing on one version )

OO....then that is just poor management skills from the devs. But unfortunately this is a very common characteristic of alot of games this gen.....release a broken game at launch and fix it with patches the following months......if it was a ps3 exclusive it would have been released a year earlier and it still would have been affected by these problems......so if anything the time on the 360 version gave namco sometime to polish both games , no matter how small the polish is.

There's really no evidence supporting this for the PS3 version... The damn game needs a 4GB install just to MATCH the 360's load screens.

OT: Namco's Tekken devs have proven to me that they just can't handle multiplat development. If Tekken6 had released earlier, it may have gotten more positive feedback due to lower standards back in 08.
