Extensive Japanese Sales Analysis

Here is work done by Dalthein and Rock Man, combining the Media Create and Famitsu sales charts to create a rather comprehensive looks at game sales thus far in Japan. Only Famitsu and Media Create numbers will be used, and every title will receive the benefit of the doubt. In other words, the sales total for a title will be whichever firm tracks it higher. Media Create numbers will be labelled with (MC).

Sales are rounded off by tracking a game until it falls out of the monthly top 50 charts for both Famitsu and Media Create. In other words, the actual tie ratios are probably ever so slightly higher -- perhaps .05 games per console, at most. Details as follows!
