When Sunny and Otacon pondered over Snake's whereabouts on the sunlit airfield, i got misty eyes and it felt like my heart was trying to get out of my body through my throat 
And then came, quite possibly the most profound scene i've ever seen in a story, two men, father and son, finally reconciliating and leaving behind one last message, one last advice for humanity. Thought provoking and sad, but also calming and very fulfilling. Trully beyond description.
