Which makes no sense to anything I just said in that. People that look at gaming divide it up into generations. First handheld generation didn't start til the 4th gaming generation. Generations for gaming don't exist, just eras in history don't exist, but we do it this way for easy reference and everyone will know what we are talking about. But handhelds, because they are in gaming, are included.
And no your last sentence is silly. Why would a company continue to sell a product, let it saturate, and make less money when they could release another product that succeeds the old one, and sell that to the same customers again along with potential new ones?.... Exactly.
