Are you ashamed of being a gamer?

I avoid talking about anything related to gaming when I'm at parties or whatever. I simply won't mention it, and I'll change the subject if someone else brings it up. Frankly, I have more interesting things to talk about than how I beat God of War on very hard or got the expert achievements in Left 4 Dead 2.

So apart from one friend who is a massive playstation fanboy, I don't really talk to others about gaming. I may mention it in passing, or talk about it with people I get to know, but I try to be subtle about it and do my best to avoid the "gamer" label.
