You are assuming that the device will attach to your finger as the demonstration piece shown, however this could easily be done as a wrist strap. If this is put to use, it will most assuredly be one of those "greatest" devices added to gaming. The ideas for it's use are quite limitless.

You are assuming that the Vitality Sensor will be heartrate monitor that could work on your wrist. The information given about the device so far is that it is not a heart rate meter, but a device that meassures the amount of blood in your finger by shining a light through it. This is quite different. It will obviously be able to tell your heart rate, but also a lot more. For example, they have already said they are able to register the amount of oxygen in the blood. This is all from the last E3 if I remeber correctly. Who kows what else they have in store.
