Games take longer to make therefore the generation will last longer. maybe we will see the xbox in 2013 or 2014. and ps4 2013,2014,or 2015.
Honestly i think it will come out in 2014. And maybe games can run natively in 1080p. PS5 can come out in 2020-2024 when ultra hd will hit the mass market . Who knows?
Currently PS3 is doing excellent and there is a great demand for them. Also polyphony release 2 gran turismo games every generation. Maybe the PS4 wont come out until gran turismo 6 is released and who knows how long that will take...
