didn't like either gears, i found them very shallow and uninteresting. engine is decent but the art direction I personally found very uninvolved. The dialogue and plot was painful to listen to and the characters were really poorly developed. Multiplayer barely worked and matchmaking to this day still doesn't work.
All my opinion. You asked for it.
