Yeah, pretty much. SE really did handle FFXIII almost perfectly; Sony likely "paid" to keep the JP exclusivity (in the form of advertising support and a big deal bundle) then Microsoft likely "paid" to get the game to 360 in the west (in the form of advertising support and a big deal bundle). For SE it's really been win:win, and I don't think FFXIII could've been handled better marketing wise. I think that's why some lend credence to FFvsXIII following the same route, it really does make a lot of sense...
