ok my aim for today is to get HASTE shoes....so I will do mission 7 but whats the most EFFICIENT way of maxing the tiara to the star level?
I'll use the 3 X multiplier....but what mechanical stuff gets me the highest experience?!!

The highest grade component is the Perfect Conductor. At x3 it gives 3391 exp a piece, but it's extremely rare and I haven't found any enemy who drops it and it isn't for sale yet. So you're better of farming Bomb Cores.
Also, I tried the Tiara trick, it didn't give me the Hermes Sandals, so I don't know how does that work xD

hmmm odd
I had a tetra tiara & upgrading to to star & them diassembling it gave me "running shoes"....they have AUTO HASTE
but doing it for the tetra crown gave me hermes sandles & like you I can't turn em into "running shoes"....as running shoes have auto haste
Anyway I have put the running shoes on lightning.....they are sooooooo useful!
