Don't you have to own and use a 360 for it to alter your life?  Anyway, many posters on this site think it's just a copy of eyepet anyway, so no worries...

@ bolded, No i dont, apparently i know more about natal than you do.

I dont care what other posters say, this thread isnt about what other posters say, im commenting on every single person thats in the "business" who apparently knows these vast great mystical secrets about what natal can accomplish telling us its the second coming and stopping there, never elaborating and telling us how it will be implemented, how it will be the best tech of 2010, how it will "revolutionize" Thats what im commenting on.

We have a kick ball game. We have a burnout demo that is atrotious for controlling a finite game like burnout which requires micro controlling, if youve ever played it try accomplishing any race in that game or hitting a billboard off an adjacent ramp on the freeway driving through oncoming traffic. I dont see it, i hear it, i read it hollow comments, but i dont see it.

I'm glad you've hada chance to check out Natal...I'm hoping to attend E3 this year to get a first hand experience before I comment on it's impact.  I'd rather take a wait and see approach, then to sling mud at something I've not experienced first hand, but hey...that's just me.  Anyway, I'm as skeptic about how Natal will be implemented, but I certianly see great potential in the tech...

Im not commenting on its impact im commenting on the lack of ellaboration on everyone saying it WILL have a big impact. Sorry, but you dont need to play somethign to see controls are offputting (speaking of burnout only), anyone that defends the burnout demo as quality is not viewing anything objectively.

I really dont think asking for quality ellaboration from everyone trying to sell this product on hype is mudslinging.

If you think this demo sucks of burnout paradise sucks...then we definitely have different standards:

The guy is controlling the game with NO PHYSICAL CONTROLLER...and people are moving in the background...that's meh to you from a technical standpoint?  Errr....Okey Dokey.

Actually, the demo is not impressive in the slightest. All it shows is that the tech works on a very basic level, which is fine for now. The controls are not very responsive (which is essential for a racing game) and it doesn't always pick up gestures. As for the people in the background waving - It's not a big deal. If you notice, all those people never step into the grey circle on the floor when they wave. Natal's camera is able to judge distance, so It's neither surprising nor impressive that it can restrict it's sensitivity to a certain distance from the camera (it might even be ajustable by the user based on different games). The demo is only a proof of concept. I don't think It's supposed to be impressive - at least I hope not.
