If you think the nanomachines bit is interesting, read Michael Crichton's Prey.

ahh, sci fi book ? I should check it out technology these days

I would give you details, but the most interesting detail would totally spoil the book. It involves nanomachines heavily, though.

I'll check it out, thank you I am already putting so many books on hold to read haha.. The Alchemist, Veronika Decides to Die, Deathnote Series, The Prince, Etc.

Woo..

From the back of the book...

"In the Nevada desert, an experiment has gone horribly wrong. A cloud of nanoparticles - micro-robots - has escaped from the labratory. This cloud is self-sustaining and self-reproducing. It is intelligent and learns from experience. For all practical purposes, it is alive.

It has been programmed as a predator. It is evolving swiftly, becoming more deadly with each passing hour.

Every attempt to estroy it has failed.

And we are the prey."

And if you don't know Michael Crichton (and if you don't, shame on you), his past works include Jurassic Park, Congo, Timeline (the movie was shitty, but the book was ace), the Andromeda Strain, etc.

hmmm, sounds allot like Nano Breaker but allot better, I wonder if this would translate into a good movie or game.

It depends on who gets a hold of it.

If Steven Spielberg directs it, it'd probably turn out awesome like Jurassic Park.

If somebody else directs it, it turns out like Timeline.  That's one of my favorite books, and all it's potential was wasted on that crappy movie.
