yea afrika looks intriguing , I wonder what the gameplay will be like

ah yea you will be able to play all kinds of clasical board games (chess, draughts , ..) and some nice casual arcade games in Home , so that application might be something to look forward to for you , although it isn't really a "game"

It's a game. There are really only a few qualities that define a game. They are as follows:

1) Is the item used for diversion or amusement?

2) Is it interactive?

If it meets those two criteria, then it's a game. Since Home is definitely intended to be amusing, and it's definitely interactive, it's a game.

Most of the things people associate with a "game," such as concrete goals and objectives, are things that video game players have forced on to the word. It isn't actually what the word means.

Which is why "non games" are in fact the most innovative games at all -- they're so innovative and fresh that people don't even understand that most of them are, in fact, games. It's time the word "game" actually was used by its real definition again, and not by the definition that video game players have decided to give it.
