I now have my refurbished PS3 to play with, but I have no games. Any suggestions for games?

Please keep in mind my distinct tastes; I really strongly dislike Heavenly Sword style, cinematic games. I do like multiplayer games and casual fair. The things on my "to be considered" list at the moment are Super Star Dust HD, Rock Band, Everyday Shooter, Shadow of the Colossus, and Virtua Fighter 5.

Given those tastes, can anyone think of something to add on?

Motorstorm with the downloadables (improves the game 100% for like $15 more)

Warhawk (with future expansion)

 Ah, definitely Fl0w! Thanks for remind me of that. I think R&C is a possibility -- especially if the g/f is interested -- but I don't think Uncharted is up my alley (not at all that it isn't good, just that it isn't for me). 

High Velocity I probably don't need because I have Wii Sports. And keep in mind I didn't have a PS2, so games for that would work, too. I'm not picky about graphics really.  

COD4 and resistance

 That was another question I wanted to ask: how is the multiplayer in these two games.

Just assume I care 0 percent about the single player experiences, and would be playing these games near-exclusively online. Under those requirements, which is better?  

You strongly DISLIKE cinematic story type games? How or why did you buy a PS3? Anyway back on topic :D I'd recommend Everyday Shooter, Ratchet and Clank, Resistance, Super Stardust, Pain, Uncharted (stretching your taste against movie type but man it's so good >< ), and you stated you liked online play so I can DEFINITELY recommend Warhawks, its been the best online experience I've had in years XD

[Edit] If your looking for some PS2 games, you should go to metacritic or gamerankings and just check out there highest rated :P, your pretty knowledgeable on video games and I'm sure you'd know which ones to be interested in ^_^ Definitely God of War series!!!! 

 COD4 is better online, I enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than resistance (not to say resistance is bad online, I just personally didnt like it as much.)

 I'd definately recommend R&C, its alot of fun. 

Resistance, Uncharted, Warhawk, Call Of Duty 4, Ratchet And Clank, Motorstorm are all awesome
