Sorry to interupt but since when has Metroid been a system seller, the highest selling Metroid game took a while to reach it's 2.8m mark, they're a 1-2m seller but not system movers as those are reserved for the likes of Mario and Zelda who push 7-8m units a pop, Metroid is more a fans game then system seller as it's far more advance then most games even the 2d games so it has limited appeal. Very good series no doubt but it's in the same catagory as the Pikmins and such in which they're just really good games with some good sales, worry about Metroid being a system seller people may as well worry about Pikmin and so on as well.
As far as Other M is concerned I'm only bothered about one thing, that's turns out f**king class, f**k the system seller sh*t because Mario, Zelda and the next Wii series game will cover that easily.
In regards to Metroid I've learned never to listern to their fans concerns because I bought Prime first day and it turned out amazing, if they're concerned about this then count me in the OM bandwagon, OM from what I hear is 3d in which the camera shifts to a perspective closests to 2d to mimic the feel of the likes of Super Metroid. You can actually go into first person and look around, to me this sounds like Metroids own version and answer to NSMBW only it's not really 2d.
