The question instead is: will it sell a Wii to people like me that still don't own a Wii? And the answer is "I don't know, I could speak for myself, but it wouldn't be statistically significant, I'll most probably buy a Wii when it's cheaper, but not for Metroid". Can Metroid sell Wiis to people not considering it before? But couldn't we ask the same thing for other games? Most people thought that the vast majority of gamers liking NSMBW already bought a Wii before for previous Mario titles, yet it helped sell a lot of consoles, so who can say until the game it's out?
