Should I pick up an XBOX 360 Elite for $AU200 (Usually $AU450)

You people are acting as if he needs these things.  I know he mentions a Wi-fi adapter and Xbox Live Gold, but I don't know if he lists those because he just wants them or if he knows that he doesn't need them, especially for the games he listed.  I wonder if he also knows he can use an ethernet cable for free.

The 360 works perfectly fine, especially for the games he's interested in, without Live.  He also gets the bonus of three free games that he can trade in and get easily get enough credit for Mass Effect.  Even if he does absolutely need Live and a Wi-Fi adapter, it's not like he has to buy those day one.

Having the PS3 and 360 may seem like a waste because there's a lot of overlap but it really is a great deal if you can afford it because then you get the best of both worlds.

All-in-all it's a wonderful deal.
