I am aware this is not really the same kind of game as MH3, but maybe there is a certain strategy here? Could the target demographics be somewhat similar (even if the game isn't the same type), and so maybe Nintendo wants to give something more to those who did come over to the Wii in the West just for MH3 (or to those coonsidering to get the Wii)? This is after all another one of those "ZOMG this should have been on the PS3 why have they betrayed us" games.
