@ button mashers, sure you can button mash, but near the end of the game you have to rely more on the fighting mechanics. Nothing wrong with button mashing if you like it. Seriously games need it for those who are not skilled enough with action type of games. It's quite balanced that casual and hardcore can play. The storyline is the main part, imo.
Also speaking of ff 12. I love it that I can set the ai. I have set it that I just have to move and attack. I know how to do it all, but some times I CBF'd fighting manually all the time :P That is worst than button mashing :P
