This thing has me stumped.
Ergonomically, I don't understand it at all...
Functionally, I can think of things that could be applied to traditional games but none of them seem good enough to motivate Nintendo to actually develop a piece of hardware.
I get the feeling this is going to be the actualization of ideas that were being discussed pre Wii Launch about having a piece of software collect biometric data from the user and then send that data to hospitals and doctors. Wii Health or what have you. If Nintendo didn't do anything traditional with M+ (yet), I doubt they will be pushing those boundaries with this peripheral.
