I've had two issues with ads in the many years I've been here.

The noise making ads we had a while back

A couple of ads messed up the site layout using Chrome.

I agree with starcraft though, at the moment I'm seeing adverts for gamer shirts, FFXIII + 360 bundle, laptops, and computer components
