The fact that GTA managed to sell more on Xbox was probably also due to a bigger gap as well as exclusive content but I do wonder if maybe because 360 now has that market that maybe the next GTA might sell more on the 360. Even with PS3 sales outpacing 360 sales worldwide at the moment Battlefield and Modern Warfare still sell more on 360. Anyway I think these sales show that going multiplatform was the right decision as enough people who have a 360 have bought it and of course by doing this reached out to around 51% of the market rather than around 23%. |
