good read, but don't use madden as a gauge for how 3rd parties did on a system.
Also about xbox vs gamecube is that Microsoft had to take a hell of a lot of losses just to keep up with the gamecube. Not everyone can jump in and buy 2 big game companies like bungie and rare, then sell their system for massive losses.
