Looking at sales momentum and the fact they keep saying "Not for a long time" I'm thinking more along the lines of 2013 or later. The Wii still sells like hotcakes and is making Nintendo a lot of profit, so no reason to rush out the new console. Especially when your competition is just copying you.
It's just that simple.
