remake or not, if pokemon sprites still flicker on and off when attacked, just as they did back in 1998, then I'm not buying it.
If Golden sun could animate battles properly back on the GBA days, then there is no excuse for pokemon games to continue their shitmation, and yes the DS is capable of not only animating the sprites but also storing them....it's just a fucking matter of Nintendo getting off there fucking ass and actually putting effort into the game.
by the way, my fav pokemon game ever was Gold version, spent over 1000 hours on that game back in the day. Pokemon Gold and Silver where the pinnical of pokemon games, every other pokemon game in my opinion just went backwards.
I'm hoping the remake of Gold and Silver lives up to my expectations, since as I've said, gold was my favorite pokemon game of all time, otherwise I'll have no choice but simply dump the series. I know the score is high, but that doesn't mean nintendo has actually fixed the gripes I have with battle animations, anyways I'll burrow the game from someone and see for my self.
