#1. ) Yes you can most definitely grind. In many early areas you can run from one end of an area back to the other and enemies respawn. In one area I just finished you were able to switch the area from day to night and every time you did the area's enemies respawned. Also in another area enemies respawned each time I took the elevator down and then back up again. So yes, it is very possible to grind.
#2.) The battle system is not really a bad Star Ocean mixed with turn-based Final Fantasy's of old. Even though you only control one character it is still a ton of fun and you still get to choose your attacks, magic, summons, items, etc... with the usual turn based style menus you are accustomed to.
#3.) As for the camera, it is really no different than any other one. The view is set behind your character as usual and you're always free to rotate the camera if you wish using the right analog. of course once you start running it moves back to being behind your character. It's not bad what so ever.
I also want to know if there are any mini-games.
Other than the battle system, which is awesome, this game so far feels like FFX to me, minus the towns which isn't all that bad so far. The game is one a fan of the FFX and before that would most likely enjoy without a doubt.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
