I think a lot of people are really equating the rise in popularity of WRPGs with a fall in popularity for JRPGs, which isn't really true. You can say that WRPGs are tkaing some of the JRPG mindshare, which is true, but JRPGs aren't less popular in terms of absolute numbers.
