What? They're obviously hugely important franchises still. To put it in a sales perspective if those games aren't big anymore than neither are ANY of the following
Killzone
Uncharted
Final Fantasy
LittleBigPlanet
Fable
Metal Gear Solid
Forza
Mass Effect
etc.
I could make this list go on and on. The OP is blatently dumb considering the newest entries in both Gears and Halo outsold all these HUGE franchises I listed.
