Sony's goal is to make a profit this year, not to win NPD numbers. They are shipping just enough to meet demand, i think they are preparing an another PS3 sku which would be profitable soon. They don't make money selling the 120gb everyone loves.
360k is huge for any month in the US for the PS3.
