My friend bought one and I loved it. The size of the handheld isn't extremely big like most of the people are saying, it's almost the size of the original DS (DS Fat) while it's opened and while it's closed it's the same size of the PSP, but the screens are really big .
I played some games on it (Zelda Spirit Tracks, Elite Beat Agents, Pictobits and some other games), and no, the resolution/pixel problem isn't bad or easily noticeable, you will notice this problem if you stop the game and try to notice it.
Closing Comments: The size of the handheld is good, it's not as big as people think. However, the size of the screens is indeed very big and it can change your experience with the games, let's say that you feel much more comfortable, touch-screen based games in this thing is another level (yes, the difference is really big), but games like Space Invaders Extreme seems to be easier with bigger screens 
, and the pixel/resolution problem isn't very noticeable while you are playing the game.
