Which isn't exactly uncommon or impossible. IVs only really matter on tournaments and Battle Areas, anyway. Personally, I only seem to get decent IVs on Pokemon I never intend to use. In other words do I have to stop exactly my ev training in a stat when he got 255 Ev point? If I give him more than 255 Ev point in a stat, is it going to harm the next stat I want to Ev train?
If you're really into minmaxing, you should cap your EV:s at 252 instead of 255, saves you a single stat point. And EV's max out 255 points per stat, thus you can't give your Pokemon more EV points in a single stat or over 510 total EV points, no matter how much you train it. You can feed your Pokemon certain berries to lower your existing EV's if you want to reassign them, though. |
Well I guess my Gengar is just not that good. That sad he had a pretty good nature. Anyway thank for the answer. The problem is that i still haven't figured out how to calculate my IV. It gives me 0 for HP, 31 for speed and special attack (number in red), 0 in def and 2 in special def. What the hell is going on?
