You should put the stats the pokemon are on level 100(for biggest accuracy) and without EVs(again, for the biggest accuracy) but you can also EV train them and still be able to calculate the IVs

PD: I have a garchomp with 31 IV on Speed and attack and tha nature is jolly =)

Ok you seems like quite a good pokemon master so I'll need your help .

So I have a level 98 Gengar and I EVs trained him for his special attack and speed.

I want to calculate its IV but for some reasons I keep getting stats that are in red on this site.

http://www.serebii.net/games/iv-calcdp.shtml

So do I put the total stats (ex 225 HP) in the first line "stats". Do I have to substract something like 63 stats in special attack and speed because I EV trained them? What do I put on the second line? I don't know if it my english or something, but there is something I do wrong I guess.

Anyway thank for the help!

I can't explain it but If you can tell me the EV's reparted to each stat, Stats and Nature I can help you

@AngelFire

You should read the pokemon bible http://www.smogon.com/

All right. Level 98 Gengar 225 HP    136 attack     109 defense   356 special attack (EV include)  153 sp. def and 308 speed (EV include). He is a mild nature. I think i have maxed his EV for special attack and speed so I guess it 63 less in each stat.

Also does a pokemon always get 63 ev in a stats if we trained him until it stop getting EV bonus? In other words do I have to stop exactly my ev training in a stat when he got 255 Ev point? If I give him more than 255 Ev point in a stat, is it going to harm the next stat I want to Ev train?

Thx again, I know it's not simple questions.
